Movie Review: OH MAK KAU... ~ memang oh my~... sigh....

Assalamualaikum WBT dan Salam Sejahtera,

Sebenarnya saya dah tengok filem ni pada hari Isnin lepas lagi..tapi baru sekarang saya nak bagi komen. so paham tak apa maksudnya? ha..ha..ha.. saya tahu, memang senang kritik daripada bikin filem, tapi apakan daya, memang sangat2 kecewa dengan filem ini.. Oh my~...saya tak suka kutuk-kutuk ni.. tapi sorrylah.. boleh kata 'Jauh Panggang Dari Api'.

Saya bukanla peminat setia Sepahtu, tetapi saya suka lawak Shuib dan Jepp. Untuk filem ni ramai pelawak-pelawak yang gah namanya, seperti Abon, Didie Alias, Yassin, Wan Maimunah dan juga pengarah/pelakon Shamsul Yusof.. diadun dengan pelakon-pelakon baru. tapi hasilnya.... sangat kecewa. Permulaan yang agak baik, namun plot cerita bercelaru dan tidak diolah dengan baik. Pengakhiran seperti dibuat secara tergesa-gesa. Trailer dah bes, lawak Sepahtu memang menjadi.... tapi secara keseluruhannya, menghampakan. tula.. terlampau berharap sangat... haish...niat asal nak support filem-filem Malaysia.

Nurul Ain, Pengarah dan Heroin OMK

Sayang sekali barisan pelakon dah bagus, namun tidak diaplikasikan dengan baik. Saya faham ini adalah cubaan sulung Nurul Ain Nordin, jadi selepas ini diharap beliau dapat mempertingkatkan lagi hasil kualiti filem yang akan datang. Takdelah industri perfileman kita dimonopoli oleh pihak yang satu tu je.

I DON’T LIKE POLITIC, BUT I LIKE OUR NEW ‘MENTERI BESAR’ OF KEDAH, DATUK PADUKA MUKHRIZ :)

I’m a Kedahan. Doesn’t matter where I am right now, where I studied for Dentistry, or where were primary schools, my Identity Card still shows that I’m a proud Kedahan! I respect Ustaz Azizan, ex-MB of Kedah.. but no hard feelings, I’m more grateful now as our new MB is Datuk Paduka Mukhriz Tun Mahathir J

I’m looking forward to positive changes in Kedah for the next five years. Up until now, Mukhriz has shown good leadership, filled with Compassion, Loving, Strict, Discipline and Determination. He attended and organized Majlis Solat Hajat for the well-being of Ustaz Azizan. What make it more interesting; a number of PAS’ ADUNs also attended the same event. Isn’t that wonderful? Peace and harmony for the sake of our beloved Kedah.

Recently, Mukhriz has shown how strict he can be. He denied the opposition request to organize ‘BLACKOUT 505’ in Kedah and I’m amazed by his statement!

"Kita sudah terlalu lama berpolitik. Jadi biarlah selepas PRU13 yang paling sengit, kita satukan balik rakyat. Tidak perlu panjang-panjangkan lagi dan timbulkan rasa marah rakyat. Bagi saya, jawapannya adalah TIDAK (untuk benarkan stadium digunakan). Saya juga dapat nasihat daripada polis, permit tidak akan dikeluarkan,"Datuk Paduka Mukhriz

CORRUPTION, WHEN DOES IT ENDS?

Como Estas? Bien? Asi-asi? He..he..he..

I don’t like writing about politics. Doesn’t matter whether you are on Ruling Site or Opposition Site, for me both sites are like ‘2 X 5’ as in Malay proverb always said. Young generations nowadays are easily influenced by stories, updates, rumours or gossips from alternative media stream such as Twitters, Facebook, blogs, and etc. Come on la… if you are so sure that person is corrupted, please have the balls to make police @ SPRM reports with strong evidences (once more, EVIDENCES!… not only 1 irrelevant evidence).

By the way, do you really understand what corruption means? It can be defined as “the abuse of entrusted power for private gain”. Now, if you didn’t know, it also can be classified into 3 categories:

1. Grand Corruption

2.   Petty Corruption

3. Political Corruption.

So you see, people always talking bla..bla..higher ups corruption…bla…bla… but don’t they know all these problems started from this “PETTY CORRUPTION”. This means people like you and me, the netizens, might be involved whether we notice it or not, to this everyday abuse of entrusted power by low- and mid-level officials in their interactions with us, who often are trying to access basic goods and services.

For example, I have broken car and needs to be repaired. I go to this workshop (doesn’t matter what race is the owner) and the ‘pomen’ asked extra money if I want the car to be repaired faster than others. Isn’t that corruption? What if the real cost is only RM100 but as I was charged at almost RM500, isn’t that corruption too? Please, fellow citizens, you want to eradicate corruption, but at the same time you are practising this Petty Corruption too. An old Malay proverb says, “Cermin muka dahulu sebelum tegur orang lain”.

Corruption won’t start if there is no ‘starter’ or ‘giver’. SPRM should catch both offenders, not only the receiver. All those bashings politically that I read in Facebook and alternative media are really getting on my nerves! Remember, corruption actually starts since we were kids too. We were bribed with sweets, chocolates, presents,and etc if we perform well in exams. It’s not possible for somebody to continue this habit when they are grown-ups. I, being a Muslim, am truly grateful as my religion prohibits me from doing this sinful act. And I’m sure other religions do teach the same.

P.S: I’m trying to be as moderate as possible in this writing. Siapa Makan Cili, Dia Terasa Pedasnya… Adios.. W’salam. 

Movie Review: Star Trek Into Darkness ~THUMBS UP!~

I'd just watched Star Trek Into Darkness at GSC, Suria Sabah, and it was Awesomeeee.....! I loved the first Star Trek film and now the second installment sure didn't dissapoint me either. So I recommend to all my friends, especially for Star Trek Franchise fans... don't miss the opportunity to watch this movie. Apart from poor sound system (it's cinema's fault), the visual, acting and movie plot are extraordinary... well of course for budget of USD 190million, we should expect a very good quality.

For now, most critics gave positive reviews for this movie (Rotten Tomatoes rates 88%). So don't worry with the lengthy duration of 133 minutes because u will not feel bored, in fact you will ask for more!! I warn you, this movie is full with action pack, sometimes can be funny and there's a moment you want to cry too.. hahaha...~

P/S: sometimes i felt this is a Bromance Movie... hehehe... between Captain Kirk and First Officer Spock sure spark some weird atmosphere (^_^)

All hail to our new Minister of Health Malaysia!

First of all, I would like express my gratitude to our 'mantan' Minister of Health Malaysia, Dato' Liow Tiong Lai for his good service in the past. However, time changes things,and in political wise so do our boss. As promised by MCA President who is also our 'mantan' MOH, Datuk Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek, MCA won't take any ministry post if they perform worse than GE12 and DS Najib executed it as promised. So, now I'm looking forward for our new MOH, Datuk Dr. S. Subramaniam to bring positive changes in the Ministry of Health. CONGRATULATION! I think our Indian friends should be proud of this appointment and he's the  second Indian to hold 'Menteri Kesihatan Malaysia' after Tun V.T. Sambanthan. Personally I think he did a decent job in his previous ministerial post as during his time, the minimum wage for private sector workers was up to at least RM800 in Sabah Sarawak and RM900 in Peninsular Malaysia. Please bear in mind, he is a Dermatologist in training and a real medical doctor, so high hopes are waiting for him in Health Sector. GOOD LUCK BOSS!

Nuzul Quran

Alhamdulillah,
Marilah kita sama-sama menghayati betapa besarnya Hari Nuzul Quran yang disambut pada setiap 17 Ramadhan.
Perkataan ‘Nuzul’ bererti turun atau berpindah dari atas ke bawah.
Oleh itu, ia bermaksud buat pertama kalinya Allah menurunkan wahyu/ayat Al Quran iaitu dr Surah Al-Alaq @ Iqra'.
Unfortunately, kat Sabah tiada cuti umum sempena Nuzul Quran namun kita tetap sepatutnya menganggap ia sebagai satu peristiwa besar dan penuh hikmah dalam Islam..
Dan saya bersyukur saya dilahirkan sebagai seorang Muslim (^_^)

Profesional III Examination

Tamatlah sudah tempoh klinikal saya di USM.
Kalau semuanya berjalan dengan baik, insya-Allah=)
Kini tiba giliran saya selaku pelajar tahun akhir pergigian untuk diuji secara teori.
Peperiksaan tersebut bermula pada 17hb Mei sehingga 21hb Mei.
Tapi, senarai pelajar yang ditahan untuk menduduki exam berkenaan hanya akan dikeluarkan pada Isnin ni.
Walaupun requirements saya agak memuaskan, namun masih tetap berdebar-debar.
Sepanjang tempoh sebulan ini, saya akan jarang kemaskini blog saya untuk beri tumpuan kepada study.
To all my friends and family, thank you so much for your support.

19th April 2009, a day to remember =)

On 19th April 2009, i issued 2 anterior PBM crown on teeth 11,12. Wow.. i'm so impressed with the result, i felt jealous with my patient because i also have discolored 22 due to RCT treated 3 years ago =( wanna see 'em? Here it is =)

This is before crown insertion, the preparation that i did few weeks back.



This is after crown cemented with Ketac Cem! Saya sendiri kagum ngan treatment kalini. Saya pun nak gak crown.. uhuk2.. kalo private mahal ni tau!

My Pet - macam karangan sekolah rendah =P

I have a cat.
Its name is Tomot.
A friend said he looks like it was kacuk with kucing utan.
No wonder it has bushy tail and stripe looks like kucing utan.
Hehe.. Tomot is soo manja by the way.
The 1st time i met Tomot, he was so skinny.
After 10 days, he looks healthy, energetic, chubby too!
Everytime i come back from clinic, he will meow2 to me.

To Catch A Virgin Ghost aka Sisily 2KM

This is the 1st time i fell in love with a ghost character! I accidentally watch this Korean Movie and yeah, as what i thought, it's a horror movie plus comedy too =) I like these genres. At first, the virgin ghost appear occasionally and i admit, it's so scary! But then, when a gangster leader was badly injured after being chased by lunatic farmers, he hid in an abandon school where the ghost resided. Initially he was too scared but due to the injury, he pleaded the ghost to let him stay(weird kan.. but when u r badly injured and in pain, anything could happen) .. soon, the ghost showed her true color, she's so kind-hearted, and sweet.. and actually, she's really pretty! When that guy asked how she was killed, she showed him (a flashback with sweet song which i really wanted to find!). Eventually she cried in the end because that guy yelled at her for not getting the revenge. The ghost was more concern of the guy's leg which bleed a lot.. waaa.... cute sangat2! Hantu boleh nangis.. hehe..


The ghost character was played by Lim Eun Kyeong =D

Borak pasal Gaji

Saya pernah borak-borak dengan pensyarah dari Indonesia sementara menunggu pesakit saya.
Katanya, dia kerja secara kontrak selama 3 tahun.
Saya memberanikan diri untuk bertanya.
Kalo kerja di Indonesia, dia dapat berapa?
Sikit aje dia jawab..
Kalo kat sini leh dapat 6-7 kali ganda..
Dalam hati terdetik, betapa bersyukurnya saya..
Kerana dapat menjadi seorang doktor gigi yang bekerja di Malaysia =)

p/s saya dah sasarkan untuk jadi dentist sejak di KMNS ;)
Veterinar is my 1st but with my CGPA, i can apply better course for a better future.

Post Interview Day

1st of all, i would like to say thank you so much to those who had wished me good luck for my SPA interview. For the interview, i got 2 very kind panel members, one from SPA and another one is a doctor from Ministry of Health. The officer from SPA asked me about my resume, my academic achievements and what i plan after serving 10 years with government.. huhu.. and for the last question is answered,"depending on where will i be in that 10 years.. i received good income, treated nicely, achieved higher position in the government, i will continue serving the government till i retired. If the opposite happened, i want to open my own private clinic or join private sectors". SO, do u think he accept that? Haha.. okay.. as usual, he persuaded me to stay with them, because i'm going to further study with their scholar, and gain lots benefits after retired=) okay, thanks for the advice sir.. i said =P

The doctor asked about what area i'm interested and i said restorative especially in conservative dentistry =) Therefore, later on, i received question regarding Root Canal Treatment, hehe... In short, no political issues arise, no dasar2 kerajaan were asked, and i'm a bit disappointed =P come on.. ask me bout KJ, Mukhriz, Tun M, UmNo, PAS, DAP, Perak Issues.. hahaha..

I'm not sure, how long i was in the interview room. Seems too fast for me =P Later i went to see mechanic to repair my car again... adoi....

SPA Interview... My turn

While my medical colleagues are busy taking their final professional examination this week, we, final year dental students are facing SPA interview. It's quite late actually but nevermind, hope we can get job early too. hehe.. anyway, tomorrow is my turn and i'm the second candidate. So friends, Wish me all the best okay! ^_^

.:: SIlly Me (+_+)::.

Adeh.. i think i had made a silly mistake on my GDP supervisor this afternoon.Before that, let me explain clearly that today i treated 5 patients! 2 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon session.. then Dr. Daddy (yeah.. itulah nama sebenar beliau.. hehe sebab dia dari indonesia) seperti biasa meminta tolong dr saya untuk rawat gigi dia yang ada masalah.

Kalini dia kata ada food impaksi =P di celah2 gigi 25 dan 26 so dia minta saya relieve contact. so Saya pakaila bur L10 untuk trim cr in between. lepas siap, dr. daddy kata okay. then selang beberapa minit kemudian dia tanya balik, betol ke saya buat kat gigi 25-26. Then saya terpikir... laaa... saya rasa saya dah tersilap adjust. Saya baru tersedar yang saya adjust gigi 26-27. Ya Allah... punyala penat sampai xsedar langsung.. Tapi masa dia tanya balik, saya tetap konfiden yang saya buat betol..~ lalalala~

p/s kalo jumpe dr daddy lagi pasni saya akan tanya balik.. ada food impaksi lagi x =P

Post Busy Days Report Part II

31/3/09 - Heading back to Kota Bharu. Though diorang cakap bertolak pukul 8.30 pagi, rupa2nya ada Udang Di Sebalik Batu! Singgah sana sini rupanya... ceh.. awat xhabaq awal2. huhu.. pakai pun dahla comot giler aritu. Breakfast kat area Flat Sri Pinang rasanya. Then diorang stop kat satu pasar di tepi stadium negeri tapi saya xturun pun. Pastu gi Penang Road. Stop for about an hour. So most guys headed to Prangin Mall. Saya pi arked game =P Kuang2.. 12.30pm bertolak ke Kota Bharu dengan coaster USM yang dah nak rosak.. and memang rosak pun kat Pasir Tumboh.. tensen2 =P

1/4/09 - APRIL FOOL! he3.. tapi jangan celebrate okai.. mcm2 cerita saya dengar berkaitan April Fool ni termasukla yang memperbodohkan saudara2 SeIslam kita pada zaman dahulu kala. Doing clinic works as usual. Dapat gak ambik impression untuk working model for bridge =)

2/4/09 - Ponteng GDP =P tolong drive keta untuk Lan balik Manir, Kuala Terengganu. Dia Dislocate shoulder masa kat UiTM Shah Alam so dia balik nak ngurut.. and turn out pas ngurut memang okay sgt2 bahu dia. Good for him..masa on the way, makan sotong goreng tepung kat tepi pantai di Penarek =D his family was so so nice for welcoming me at their house =D pas balik ngurut singgah satu kedai mee rebus yang bagi saya pelik (as a budak Kedah la...) tp okayla.. nampak cam mee sup je actually tapi diorang panggil mee rebus.

3/4/09 - Plan nak pi mandi air terjun/sungai kat Kuala Berang tapi xjadi pas singgah di umah kawan ayah Lan di sana. Ujan lebat.. Terjumpa Sani ms smyg jumaat di masjid kuala berang. Pas beli selipar jepun untuk ayah lan yang ilang seliparnya kena rampok di masjid, singgah plak kedai kek.. macam2 la diorang ni =P sy pun tmpang sekaki, dapat makan cheese kek petang tu. hehe..dahla disambung dengan cendawan goreng tepung yang sedap dimasak oleh mak Lan. diorang bab makan2 ni memang pemurah ngat! Kembung perut saya ms balik KB.

4/9/09 - pagi tu pi mancing ikan dalam ujan kat tasik tepi stadium sultan mizan. tp sorang pun xdapat hasil... ha3 rupa2nya diorang pun 1st time try mancing situ. balik ke KOta Bharu pada jam 3 petang. singgah di jerteh untuk hantar adik and sepupu Lan yang sekolah kat sana =) Singgah makan sate kat Jabi, bes! tp syg, perut ngah kembung masa tu... hu3


Moral of the story: Pas makan Buffet Tenji, pi umah Lan.. berat tambah 1.5kg!! skang dah rajin pi gym balik.. he3..insaf2...
