Nuzul Quran

Alhamdulillah,
Marilah kita sama-sama menghayati betapa besarnya Hari Nuzul Quran yang disambut pada setiap 17 Ramadhan.
Perkataan ‘Nuzul’ bererti turun atau berpindah dari atas ke bawah.
Oleh itu, ia bermaksud buat pertama kalinya Allah menurunkan wahyu/ayat Al Quran iaitu dr Surah Al-Alaq @ Iqra'.
Unfortunately, kat Sabah tiada cuti umum sempena Nuzul Quran namun kita tetap sepatutnya menganggap ia sebagai satu peristiwa besar dan penuh hikmah dalam Islam..
Dan saya bersyukur saya dilahirkan sebagai seorang Muslim (^_^)

Salam alaik.. salam Ramadhan 1431h.. selamat bertemu kembali setelah berkurun lamanya saya mengabaikan blog ni untuk Facebook sepenuh masa (laa kunun) haha ~ Tiba2 terasa nak meninjau2 apa yang terjadi kepada blog yg saya usahakan semasa di tahun akhir @ Universiti Sains Malaysia, Health Campus.. ALhamdulillah, belum kena delete lagi ;p

Sekarang saya telah bergelar Dr Mior Azrizal Bin M Ibrahim, sedang menabur bakti di negeri orang.. Cuba korang teka saya bekerja di negeri mana sekarang? Apa.. nak tips? Orait.. Tengokla gambar2 kat bawah ni ;)

Profesional III Examination

Tamatlah sudah tempoh klinikal saya di USM.
Kalau semuanya berjalan dengan baik, insya-Allah=)
Kini tiba giliran saya selaku pelajar tahun akhir pergigian untuk diuji secara teori.
Peperiksaan tersebut bermula pada 17hb Mei sehingga 21hb Mei.
Tapi, senarai pelajar yang ditahan untuk menduduki exam berkenaan hanya akan dikeluarkan pada Isnin ni.
Walaupun requirements saya agak memuaskan, namun masih tetap berdebar-debar.
Sepanjang tempoh sebulan ini, saya akan jarang kemaskini blog saya untuk beri tumpuan kepada study.
To all my friends and family, thank you so much for your support.

On 19th April 2009, i issued 2 anterior PBM crown on teeth 11,12. Wow.. i'm so impressed with the result, i felt jealous with my patient because i also have discolored 22 due to RCT treated 3 years ago =( wanna see 'em? Here it is =)

This is before crown insertion, the preparation that i did few weeks back.

This is after crown cemented with Ketac Cem! Saya sendiri kagum ngan treatment kalini. Saya pun nak gak crown.. uhuk2.. kalo private mahal ni tau!

I have a cat.
Its name is Tomot.
A friend said he looks like it was kacuk with kucing utan.
No wonder it has bushy tail and stripe looks like kucing utan.
Hehe.. Tomot is soo manja by the way.
The 1st time i met Tomot, he was so skinny.
After 10 days, he looks healthy, energetic, chubby too!
Everytime i come back from clinic, he will meow2 to me.

To Catch A Virgin Ghost aka Sisily 2KM

This is the 1st time i fell in love with a ghost character! I accidentally watch this Korean Movie and yeah, as what i thought, it's a horror movie plus comedy too =) I like these genres. At first, the virgin ghost appear occasionally and i admit, it's so scary! But then, when a gangster leader was badly injured after being chased by lunatic farmers, he hid in an abandon school where the ghost resided. Initially he was too scared but due to the injury, he pleaded the ghost to let him stay(weird kan.. but when u r badly injured and in pain, anything could happen) .. soon, the ghost showed her true color, she's so kind-hearted, and sweet.. and actually, she's really pretty! When that guy asked how she was killed, she showed him (a flashback with sweet song which i really wanted to find!). Eventually she cried in the end because that guy yelled at her for not getting the revenge. The ghost was more concern of the guy's leg which bleed a lot.. waaa.... cute sangat2! Hantu boleh nangis.. hehe..

The ghost character was played by Lim Eun Kyeong =D

Saya pernah borak-borak dengan pensyarah dari Indonesia sementara menunggu pesakit saya.
Katanya, dia kerja secara kontrak selama 3 tahun.
Saya memberanikan diri untuk bertanya.
Kalo kerja di Indonesia, dia dapat berapa?
Sikit aje dia jawab..
Kalo kat sini leh dapat 6-7 kali ganda..
Dalam hati terdetik, betapa bersyukurnya saya..
Kerana dapat menjadi seorang doktor gigi yang bekerja di Malaysia =)

p/s saya dah sasarkan untuk jadi dentist sejak di KMNS ;)
Veterinar is my 1st but with my CGPA, i can apply better course for a better future.

Post Interview Day

1st of all, i would like to say thank you so much to those who had wished me good luck for my SPA interview. For the interview, i got 2 very kind panel members, one from SPA and another one is a doctor from Ministry of Health. The officer from SPA asked me about my resume, my academic achievements and what i plan after serving 10 years with government.. huhu.. and for the last question is answered,"depending on where will i be in that 10 years.. i received good income, treated nicely, achieved higher position in the government, i will continue serving the government till i retired. If the opposite happened, i want to open my own private clinic or join private sectors". SO, do u think he accept that? Haha.. okay.. as usual, he persuaded me to stay with them, because i'm going to further study with their scholar, and gain lots benefits after retired=) okay, thanks for the advice sir.. i said =P

The doctor asked about what area i'm interested and i said restorative especially in conservative dentistry =) Therefore, later on, i received question regarding Root Canal Treatment, hehe... In short, no political issues arise, no dasar2 kerajaan were asked, and i'm a bit disappointed =P come on.. ask me bout KJ, Mukhriz, Tun M, UmNo, PAS, DAP, Perak Issues.. hahaha..

I'm not sure, how long i was in the interview room. Seems too fast for me =P Later i went to see mechanic to repair my car again... adoi....

Adeh.. i think i had made a silly mistake on my GDP supervisor this afternoon.Before that, let me explain clearly that today i treated 5 patients! 2 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon session.. then Dr. Daddy (yeah.. itulah nama sebenar beliau.. hehe sebab dia dari indonesia) seperti biasa meminta tolong dr saya untuk rawat gigi dia yang ada masalah.

Kalini dia kata ada food impaksi =P di celah2 gigi 25 dan 26 so dia minta saya relieve contact. so Saya pakaila bur L10 untuk trim cr in between. lepas siap, dr. daddy kata okay. then selang beberapa minit kemudian dia tanya balik, betol ke saya buat kat gigi 25-26. Then saya terpikir... laaa... saya rasa saya dah tersilap adjust. Saya baru tersedar yang saya adjust gigi 26-27. Ya Allah... punyala penat sampai xsedar langsung.. Tapi masa dia tanya balik, saya tetap konfiden yang saya buat betol..~ lalalala~

p/s kalo jumpe dr daddy lagi pasni saya akan tanya balik.. ada food impaksi lagi x =P

31/3/09 - Heading back to Kota Bharu. Though diorang cakap bertolak pukul 8.30 pagi, rupa2nya ada Udang Di Sebalik Batu! Singgah sana sini rupanya... ceh.. awat xhabaq awal2. huhu.. pakai pun dahla comot giler aritu. Breakfast kat area Flat Sri Pinang rasanya. Then diorang stop kat satu pasar di tepi stadium negeri tapi saya xturun pun. Pastu gi Penang Road. Stop for about an hour. So most guys headed to Prangin Mall. Saya pi arked game =P Kuang2.. 12.30pm bertolak ke Kota Bharu dengan coaster USM yang dah nak rosak.. and memang rosak pun kat Pasir Tumboh.. tensen2 =P

1/4/09 - APRIL FOOL! he3.. tapi jangan celebrate okai.. mcm2 cerita saya dengar berkaitan April Fool ni termasukla yang memperbodohkan saudara2 SeIslam kita pada zaman dahulu kala. Doing clinic works as usual. Dapat gak ambik impression untuk working model for bridge =)

2/4/09 - Ponteng GDP =P tolong drive keta untuk Lan balik Manir, Kuala Terengganu. Dia Dislocate shoulder masa kat UiTM Shah Alam so dia balik nak ngurut.. and turn out pas ngurut memang okay sgt2 bahu dia. Good for him..masa on the way, makan sotong goreng tepung kat tepi pantai di Penarek =D his family was so so nice for welcoming me at their house =D pas balik ngurut singgah satu kedai mee rebus yang bagi saya pelik (as a budak Kedah la...) tp okayla.. nampak cam mee sup je actually tapi diorang panggil mee rebus.

3/4/09 - Plan nak pi mandi air terjun/sungai kat Kuala Berang tapi xjadi pas singgah di umah kawan ayah Lan di sana. Ujan lebat.. Terjumpa Sani ms smyg jumaat di masjid kuala berang. Pas beli selipar jepun untuk ayah lan yang ilang seliparnya kena rampok di masjid, singgah plak kedai kek.. macam2 la diorang ni =P sy pun tmpang sekaki, dapat makan cheese kek petang tu. hehe..dahla disambung dengan cendawan goreng tepung yang sedap dimasak oleh mak Lan. diorang bab makan2 ni memang pemurah ngat! Kembung perut saya ms balik KB.

4/9/09 - pagi tu pi mancing ikan dalam ujan kat tasik tepi stadium sultan mizan. tp sorang pun xdapat hasil... ha3 rupa2nya diorang pun 1st time try mancing situ. balik ke KOta Bharu pada jam 3 petang. singgah di jerteh untuk hantar adik and sepupu Lan yang sekolah kat sana =) Singgah makan sate kat Jabi, bes! tp syg, perut ngah kembung masa tu... hu3

Moral of the story: Pas makan Buffet Tenji, pi umah Lan.. berat tambah 1.5kg!! skang dah rajin pi gym balik.. he3..insaf2...

26/3/09 - Bertolak ke UiTM Shah ALam

27/3/09 - Bas turunkan kitorang kat Hentian Putra coz dengan sengalnya xleh check in hotel til 3pm. Makan buffet kat Tenji di Mont Kiara with Lan, Kee Wei, Boon Wah, Tse Yee, Mei Zhi, and Eng Chuan. Oleh kerana terlampau sakit perut, terpaksa membuang air besar 2 kali di sana..=P Then gi Mid Valley ngan Lan and Kee Wei - tgk Dragonball yang hampeh giler! Bongoknya aku rasa tika itu.. Naik komuter yang bengong.. turun KL Sentral n give up. naik Kl Rapid pi S.Alam. Tido di Hotel Intekma

28/3/09 - Sports Day yg cam bangang! Is this what we get after training giler2 pagi jumaat and sabtu? Burn masa tidor extra tau! satu.. start lambat budget nak wat opening grand.. then start lambat lagi game volleyball man. dah tau byk team, pecahla ke court lain ke hape. Ini dok.. dahla macam kura2 conduct game. SIot!!!! Di tambah ngan kehujanan di petang hari memang sedeh giler ah.. dapat main 1 game jek. Ingatkan cancel terus game ni tanpa pemenang tapi pi bagi gak team UKM menang.. iyela diorang dah main 2 games tp most of us dapat main 1 game jek!!!!! Harap facilities je mantap but at the end, due to poor management.. it spoil everything =( saya blah terus 5.30pm.. dr. Basa and Dr. Siti dengan baik atinya hantar saya ke Mines.. Dapat jumpe Nina and tengok Knowing yang best! Had dinner with her too =)

29/3/09 - Bertolak ke Penang pada jam 4 petang. Sampai 8.30mlm. Naik teksi mahal pi USM tp lantaklah.. dah penat ngat. Dok sebilik ngan Chong.

30/3/09 - Visit yang bes ke Loji Rawatan Air di SG DUA and Klinik Pergigian Mak Mandin =) singgah lunch di Carrefour. Petang sewa van.. van yg macam jual sayur. Guess what? i'm the driver... hahaha.. sekali pandang macam prebet sapu tau... =D mule2 naik ngan 7 other malay boys.. memang terkial2 gakla bawak van @ 1st. kitorang pegi Queensbay.. layan Race to the Witch Mountain then gi Telok Tempoyak makan seafood. Part ni yang paling cuak.. jalan nak gi sana dahla 40 degree nye condong, naik van nak roboh.. memang cuak giler especially si pemandu ni =P

The Office is a comedy like documentary series which adapted from UK version.
This series was introduce by my great pal Fadhil.
Seriously, at 1st.. i was thinking..."pheww.... this series quite sucks".
But as i went along with it.... Man.. i love it so much that i even found Big Bang Theory is not interesting anymore.
No wonder it won few awards in comedy series.
The character i love the most is Dwight K. Schrute!

He looks dumb, naive,crazy,sometimes smart.. but beware. He's the most fun to watch ^_^

Clinical Presentation

After delayed for almost 3months, tomorrow is my last day of presenting in front of my dental colleagues =)

I'm so relieved because in the end, the time of freedom has arrived.. before facing my final professional examination.
My clinical presentation for tomorrow is regarding Le Fort I fracture with split hard palate.

A bit stress and sad because my bridge patient couldn't turn up.
Just for finishing and taking impression only... waa..
Besides that, En. Osman told me he had accidentally broken my paed's patient band and study model for space maintainer..
Need to re-take again the impression with band =(
But i don't blame him.. He helps me lots several times before =D

13th March.. A day to remember..

5 days before the date, i received a phone call from a man.
He claimed he is from Pusat Islam and he said i had to received something on an event which is happened on the date.
On Thursday i received a letter mentioning that i have to attend a forum to received a Special Appreciation Certificate in conjunction with Maulidul Rasul 1430h.
So i persuaded my dear friend Razali to accompany me to the forum without telling him bout the cert.
Hehe.. turn out i had a very pleasant night listening to the forum which discussing about the life of Rasulullah SAW..
I'm so grateful to be a Muslim and has Nabi Muhammad is the leader.... Alhamdulillah =D

Hehe.. lamanya tak kemaskini blog saya..
Stress ngan klinik kot.. then kena train volleyball lagi..
For dental faculties sports carnival at UiTM Shah Alam this 29th March.
However.. blog doesn't need me to write long entry kan.
Some blogs i'd visited, only by puting one word per entry pun ada.

Anyway, because at Kelantan there's no cinema..
I can't watch the latest movie that i really wanted
Like now... waa... being a Dragonball fan... die-hard i think =P
I'm so desperate to watch the life-action film of Dragonball Evolution.
Doesnt matter it's great or not... Waa.... it's really sucks i couldn't see it til now =(:::
I used to have complete collection of "Mutiara Naga" comics
from 1-43!
Until my mom threw it away without my consent =(
I will alwiz read it repeatedly! like addiction.. haha..
Besides that, i've also watched every single anime of it!
Including Dragonball GT, hehe..

So.. i hope i can watch it when going to Shah Alam next weekend ;)
Hehehe...

National Student Scientifc Conference

Alhamdulillah, everything went well for yesterday event.
There were a lot of dental students from various universities!
Although the presenters were from USM, UM, and UKM.. other universities such as USIM, UIA,UiTM also sent their dental students to attend this conference.
This is great because most of them still in early stage.. juz 1-3 years old =)

Registration started at 8.30am. There were huge crowd at PPSG's groud floor.
Before that, me and Mus went to HEP to borrow blazer, hehe..
Last minute baru teringat, yela.. really don't have much time because of clinic's stuff.
The opening ceremony was great as it's officiated by the deputy minister in Higher Education
besides that, VIPs such as Prof. Ma, Dean of School of Dental Sciences, Deans from other dental faculties also came.

The real event started at 10.30am!
Waa... i was really nervous. I had to standby at my poster board while waiting for my turn which is the 5th
I had a nice conversation with two representatives from UM,Li Sar and Tan =)
I really didnt practice that morning =P
Eventually, i presented quite smooth which surprised me lots =)
The judge impressed so much because i managed to end my presentation by the bell rang.
Besides that, it was nice to hear they said my study was good.
We had a nice discussion for another 5 minutes and the judge from UM take the opportunity to shake my hand.. wow... what a day!

However i placed no high expectation cause i found out other studies much2 better than mine.
To be able to present it well was all i wanted to..
I'm really glad that my supervisor, Dr. Wan Zaripah was so happy with my performance and we had picture taken together with my poster.
Unfortunately, only she had the photos. huhuhu...

Oh yeah, i got to meet few friends from UKM which we met at APDSA meeting, GEnting.. Yin Shi and Nazihah
And eventually, both of them won the 1st prize for Oral Presentation!
Good for them ;)
Overall, UKM won the challenge trophy! USM won the Poster Presentation by Wong Tsee Yee.. my great,kind neighbour and friend in clinic =)

Later that night, i went out with Kee Wei, Soon Pieng, Chong and Rubin and played bowling at Perdana Bowl.
i beat all of them, hehe with the score of 125-195-175.. actually that bowl lane quite suck!
Now, on my next agenda is to win the Kejohanan Boling Tertutup PPSG which my team won last year, heheheh....

p/s To Nailah... I forgot that u were also presenting in this conference. I'm so sorry i didn't get the opportunity to find you. Perhaps someday in future okay ;)

Busy..busy.. busy..

I really hate it when seeing this blog not updated..
However.. due to unexpected things, this month had been so hectic.
I didn't have much time to online.. u know why?
here are the reasons.. i listed them out =P

1. Final Report CFCS must be submitted by 1st March and yeah, i just finished it. Alhamdulillah
2. Clinic hours =( hectic, busy as usual...
3. Inventory on weekend =( luckily, no instrument was lost
4. MDA talk on friday.. another event that had taken out my sleeping/resting day
5. Sadly to say, my elective supervisor called me and said my research has been selected for National Student Scientific Conference this 5th March.. now i have to go through again my research report and updated my poster... waaa! hate it... Fortunately, i have a very supportive supervisors. THANKS!
6. Finishing up my IDA presentation and clinical presentation..

sangat penat.. masa GDP petang tadi, i called 3 patients! yeah.. i repeat.. 3 patients! in 2 hours...
huhu.. doing issue cobalt-chrome denture, try in acrylic denture and review RCT treated and replace with permanent. Cuak gak awal2.. ingat xmampu. Alhamdulillah i managed to treat them all.. tp balik dari klinik memang penat giler!

This is the best Situation Comedy series ever!
Have u guys had the chance to watch this series?
I'm So love it.. almost each main characters can make me laugh =)
Especially Sheldon and Howard.
Raj and Leonard also have their own funny moments but no as etablished as other two.
Hehe.. i really love when Penny looks clueless, annoyed, and frustrated when she's hanging with those four geeky guys.
This is a series that u must watch!

Synopsis:

The Big Bang Theory is an American situation comedy which concerns two prodigies in their twenties, one a theoretical physicist and the other an experimental physicist, who work at Caltech and live across the hall from a blonde waitress with show-biz aspirations. Result Mid Term dah Keluar

Actually citer ni dah agak basi... result keluar pada suatu petang hari Isnin.
Tatkala itu saya ada patient perio and fixed prostho.
Result exam mid term yang ada paper MCQ, MEQ, SAQ and mock VIVA tu.
Secara kesimpulannya, saya sendiri agak terkejut ngan result yang saya dapat.
Bajet Viva at least C atau fail gaknya =(
Seriously.. study pun xsempat, hari2 pergi Gym depan USM ni konon2 release tensen sebelum exam.
lagipun, saya xdela wat study group, study solo2..
Tapi dah ini dinamakan rezeki agaknya =)
Alhamdulillah...

Terima kasih kepada mereka yang sentiasa memberikan sokongan kepada saya selama ini.
Semoga saya leh dapat keputusan yang sama dalam Professional Exam III this mid-May.. actually dapat sit for that exam pun dah OK!

Today at SMK Kemumin was fun and better than yesterday. My group was in charged for Dental Health Education to form 1 Amanah and 1 Cekal. Those kids were good and look interested =) We talked about caries, gingivitis, diet counselling, Oral Hygiene Instruction, dental Visits and bad habits such as Smoking and betel nut chewing. Looking forward for the last day, when it's our turn to handle exhibition!

By the way...Cuakla..
Last week Dr. Wan Z said they will be having meeting for midterm exam results on 20th Jan which is today.
Hopefully no bad turn out for me in this exam ;)
The consequence is very harsh, those who fails cannot sit for 3rd Professional EXam..=(
Will post again once i knew the result!

Back From SUKAD.. Now School Dental Health Day

Well.. as u guys know, i just went to USM Main Campus at Penang Island from 15-18th January for Sukan Antara Desasiswa which i played cricket for our campus. This was the 2nd phase of the Tournament which consist of other sports such as Softball, Hockey, Senamrobik, Basketball, Futsal, Volley, Badminton and i guess that's all. Previous week, there were already games such as Rugby, soccer, archery, etc..

One thing i always looked forward when going to penang is Nasi Kandar, Hehe... seriously, i reali luv Nasi Kandar SUbaidah which opened a branch in USM Main Campus. very cheap and reasonable price, it situated near the literature faculty. Can u imagine, rice+Ayam Madu+Sayur Kobis only cost me Rm3.40!!! Lunch at nurani cafe is more expensive that that =( plus the drinks also cheap! Teh Ais = rm1, Milo ais-RM1.10.. perghh... if i stayed in USM Penang, sure getting fatter easily =D however, i restricted by having nasi kandar 2 times for this coming ;)

-Arrived at USM around 6.45am
-Breakfast at our usual spot. having nasi tomato coz didnt have dinner on the night before =(
-shocked to know that cricket n hockey team need to stay at Surau Desa Fajar Harapan
-had training on 10am-12.30pm at minden field
-Jumaat pray, had lunch at subaidah's afterward ;)
-5.30pm went to queensbay... so boring.. those guys dunno what to do there.

-getting hyped for event day! =)
-went to minden field at 8am
-it's so hot!!! we played and won all games in our group. i ended up getting sunburn. itam abes muke =(
-went into final but i resigned to give way for the reserves to play
eventually we lost but proudly it was very tight till the end. 61-60! only defeated by 1 run on the last over and the last ball! never ever gonna forget it

-Good day for our campus but boring day for cricket team, hehe..

-went back to USMKK at 10pm, after stopping by at Kayu Nasi Kandar =D but i ate roti telur.. hehe

.::1 Cekal, SMK Kemumin.. i'm not in due to camera shy,hehe::.

Now, i'm having a programme called school dental health day at SMK kemumin where we have dental check up for those kids, ceramah, Latihan Memberus Gigi and Exhibition. It is from 19-21 January. Adeh... badan lenguh2 lagi ni. Sebla kena jaga registration counter on the 1st day. Today i'm gonna teach the students on how to brush their teeth, hehe. See ya!

Yippee! Dapat perform Minor Oral Surgery ^_^

Hehe.. saya dengan sukacitanya ingin memaklumkan bahawa salah satu requirement yang paling saya cuak telah pun dilaksanakan dengan jayanya (hampirla...=P). Yep, it is - to perform minor oral surgery, specifically on removing impacted third molar atau dalam bahasa melayunya membuang gigi geraham bongsu yang xtumboh - burokla plak bile translate =D

My patient is a 42 years old, Malay gentlemen from Pasir Tumboh presented with pericoronal abscess with vertical impacted 48 (lower right 3rd molar tooth) for almost 2 weeks prior to appointment.. after presenting my history to my ex-senior merangkap Dr. Razliza(thanks a lot for ur guidance!), i administered Local Anesthesia through Inferior Dental nerve block and long buccal nerve block. Part pakai gown OT paling kelakar/tensen sekali.. fail btol, tiga kali tukar glove sebab my own silly mistakes =( xpela, belajar dr pengalaman.. huhu..

Then wat mucoperiosteal buccal flap.. Kak Ija tunjukkan mana nak wat incision. then guna periosteal elevator to raise the flap and hold the flap dengan alat yang i lupe namanya (hampeh tol). So the tooth extracted successfully dengan bantuan COuplands elevator, cryers and lastly forcep! lega sgt ok.. settle in around 40mins ;) pas suture, i irrigate with normal saline and ask patient to bite the gauze, give post-op instruction, prescribed ponstan and difflamed mouthwash.. pastu bagi dia MC 3 ari! yea.... at last, de gak requirement wat Oral surgery =D oh yeah, special thanks to Tai Hui sebab tolong assist saya tadi. dia pun dapat claimed requirement jadi assistant!

So ada sape2 lagi yang sakit gigi geraham bongsu??? hehehe... meh cni meh..nak tolong cabutkan, dapat MC 3 ari tau! ^_^

- memula mmg org agak skeptikal nak nengok cite ni sbb ada badi keanu - matrix, so org agak2 cite ni sure complicated tahap sixsense la...tapi bile dah tgk rasa xdela pening sgt nak paham. cite die sng je, mamat klaatu ni dtg bumi sbb nak slamatkan bumi drpd dibinasakan oleh....(tgk sendiri)
- part yg best: yakjuj dan makjuj yg membinasakan (scaaaaaary)
- 4 bintang ;)

2. bedtime stories (cerita masa tidur)

- rasa tertipu gakla sbb ingatkan sume bedtime stories yg die cite kat anak buah dia tu jadi real, rupanya jadi real tapi dlm konteks yg berbeza (tgk sendiri). tapi kalo dah namanya adam sandler...mmg superb la citenya! besttttt............

My 1st thought,"What kind of movie is this?!!" By Looking at the poster, i'm not really attracted to watch it. Perhaps due to Jim Carrey as the main cast, i'm willing to gamble my RM9 to watch Yes Man on the last day before going back to Kota Bharu=D

Yes Man is a 2008 American comedy film directed by Peyton Reed and starring Jim Carrey. The film is based on the true story and 2005 book The Yes Man by British humourist Danny Wallace. To make it short, Carl(Jim Carrey) is a very negative, anti-social person who always say 'No!' to anybody regards whatever reason. He loves to live by himself, alone, and one of the cause of his behavior is marriage failure.

But one day, after attending the "Yes!" seminar(by accident), his life changes dramatically. Whenever he say Yes, good things happen but at the same time there's a catch for it, HAHAHA... dats the FUn part!

Ikan Siakap yang sedap =D

Tadi dengan bermurah hatinya En Azlan kite telah membelanja saya makan malam di Restoran Sue Tomyam yang dah lama saya tak kunjung tiba. Hehe.. katanya nak belanja makan ikan siakap masak 3 rasa yang dia dah bantai 3 times already within this one week. By the way, his hobby is eating at delicious place =P kuang..kuang.. so we drove off with my car becoz ujan lebatz lak.. alangkah besnya kalo dapat merempit..rendu!

Then when we looked at the menu, both of us noticed Set A which suitable for 2-3 persons. It consists of Rice, 1 Ikan Siakap, 3 Dishes, 2 drinks and 1 plate of fruits for Rm39.00. Becoz dia kata nak belanja, i ok jek! Ha..ha.. Rugi tol xamik gambar tadi. Leh post kat cni untuk korang tengok sampai terliur=P So, Besides Ikan Siakap 3 rasa tu, we asked for telur bungkus, tomyam campur and cendawan goreng.

Perghh... memang sedap giler esp Ikan siakap tu, no wonder la dia leh bantai 3 kali makan kat situ minggu ni. Tomyam dia abeskan la coz i memang xlarat makan byk2 (di samping menjaga badan... hehe). My aim memang nak licinkan ikan siakap tu jek so lain2 i soh Lan abeskan.. hehe.. So great that i suggested to him we should have this course once a week=D

Perhaps we will invite another person coz mmg banyak gak lauk2 tu tadi.. so sape nak jadi the 3rd person???!! Nanti kalo makan lagi, i take photos to show u guys kay ;)

1. I was the President of PSG (Persatuan Sains Pergigian) for 2007/2008 and i am proud that during my reign(konon..=P), we achieved lots of wonderful things and plan yang kitorang sediakan pada awal tahun memang banyak terlaksana! Thanks to my very dedicated and capable friends + juniors as the excos of course. Xmaula spesifik pada sape2 coz for me, everyone did an amazing jobs! In short, the moment we all resigned on July'08, sume puas ati sangat2 and the AGM was among the best we had in years ;) Alhamdulillah... Kalo nak list all activities we had memang xterkira la =P But i Love it!!!

2. Banyak suke dan duke masa klinik tp most of the time i had great time. Ada patient very generous siap bagi macam2 sampai a total of RM150 i dapat dr dia! Serba salah gak nak ambil tapi 'rezki jangan ditolak, musuh jangan dicari' kan? Hehe.. ada yang bagi kueh raya la, belanja minum.. yang terlebih ramah sgt dok sms2. haha.. yang tu i dun want ok =P Basically, requirement agak stable except kritikal in fixed prostho.. cuak giler sampai malam2 xleh tido kalo tetiba terpikirkan benda ni =(

3. In my batch of 2003/2004, sume dak medic pas their profesional 3 exam tau! I'm so proud with them coz i'm quite a close fren with them too! iyela.. guys dental xramai, besides we had been together since 1st year til now, living in the same hostel.. However, sadly my dental friends had an opposite fate.. still, 6 of them are Doctors now! Congratz! ;) We had a great loss when Arwah Amin Datok passed away in a car accident as soon as he attained the Dr. title =( sdey sangat, semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat keatas Allahyarham Muhammad Amin Ishak.. Al-Fatihah.

Kuang..kuang.. xsangka dapat piala masa Annual grand dinner PPSG sebab jadi batch leader masa 1st year. dahla masa tu jadi emcee.. my emcee partner yang bacakan nama i and i sebelah dia yg naik atas pentas to receive that award =P not appropriate sebenarnya but it happened. ms i kena jadi emcee, i dun even know i had to receive it. Besides that, my bowling team menang Piala Pusingan Dekan this year! suke giler! we're going to retained it again in 2009, hehe. And then menang pantomin and nasyid during Minggu Penghayatan Islam for 3rd time! (dapat 2nd masa 1st year and ms yr4 batch kitorang break jap sebab dah menang 2 kali berturut2..hehe).

5. Tulis apa lagi ek? Hehe.. ntahla.. sebagai tambahan, my dearest 'sis' Aimi married and i dapat visit dia n family kat Rantau Panjang before i catched my plane that nite for convo hols. Oh yeah.. I got to know Aina's family pretty well and they are so kind to me! Thanks! Though ummi selalu ngusik but i'm so ok with it.. hahaha.. then i kena drive nina's car balik raya puasa baru ni with her bro n sis! what a journey ;) emm... elektif went well(Dr. Wan Z sangat la baik, jangan jeles!). pass my end of year 4 exam though sangkut gak paper SAQ tp last2 dapat A! padan muke diri sendiri..=P Pastu dapat jalan2 KK..hehe. Emm.. my good friend Faiz Rasmi aka Gila/Keluang Man(hahah.. yeah.. it's true) wat Houseman kat HUSM. We were classmates at Jenan!

Recently i received a msg from a friend at friendster and dia ada mention dat her parents has warned her to not marry a Malay guy. Wow.. dats so shocking for me. Never expected there would be this kind of thought nowadays. Perhaps the reason is her family is kinda mixed with Pakistanis. So they want their children to marry a mixed guy also kot =P For whatever the reason is, maybe they have their own concrete one. Don't feel insult my dear Malay guy friends, hehe..

So... what do you think? Is it really bad to marry a Malay guy? =(

Here i have a question.. kinda asking your opinion actually..

What if u get a patient who is:
~ opposite sex
~ younger than u
~ needed treatment for another 2-3 visits
~ alwiz texting msg/sms to u since the day of his/her 1st visit..

What should i do?
Should i reply her msg but not too friendly is enough?
Should i ignore her? But then... it's not nice and ethical. She still has to be treated after this. It's gonna be awkward.

At Last...

Today is CFCS programme day at PPSG. I was incharged of 'Unit Perasmian and Protokol' as the leader. Yesterday we had a good day of practice and i suggested we had our last try out at 8 dis morning. However..... waa.... when i woke up for 2nd time, it's already 8.45am!!! I'm so freaked out, i quickly took bath and luckily i already prepared my attire for this event coz i'm gonna lead the prayer. But when i looked at my phone, nobody's trying to call me. Seems everything went well perhaps.

So.. to summarize the story, i arrived at PPSG around 9am (haha.. cepat giler siap). Alhamdulillah everything's ok. Now we're just waiting for the dean who's helping his wife to retrieve her presentation which had a problem to open it. Although we started at 9.30am, but it went well onwards. Sarah's multimedia presentation also very nice. I'm so glad! Hehehe... the opening ceremony followed by 2 talks from Dr Noorliza and Dr Zuliani =) Both were great! And the foster parents also showed their interest pretty well.

Oh yeah, my foster mother also came with her daughter, Adawiyah. Hehe.. it's great to see them coz at least i'll get the credit for their attendance. But unluckily they need to go home early due to a wedding ceremony.

There were lots of great things in this programme. I also donated my blood too! got few exhibitions and coloring contest for the children. At last... another obstacle to finish our study just ended (^_^)

I'm so Happy!!! Today i did pulpectomy at last, my 1st pulpectomy.. hehe.. Dr. Alia supervised me this time and she's so nice! Like alwiz.. hehe.. Oh yeah, by the way, Pulpectomy is an endodontic treatment on children. It's like doing Root Canal Treatment in adults except this procedure can be completed in one visit! Then i'm going to restore it with Stainless Steel Crown.. yeah!

I have watched a few episodes of this new series. Quite good actually although the intro song and visual so damn boring n unrelated, hehe. It's like watching Twilight but this time the human girl has a super psychic power which is mind reading. The vampires are living among humans after their existence is being accepted legally. The series is based on the Sookie Stackhouse book series by Charlaine Harris.

The Plot Summary:

Thanks to a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. Aidiladha break just ended.. as usual, not much thing to be done during Raya Haji when we're not going back to my village at Kedah. But still, i can eat delicacies such as Kueh raya, rendang ayam/daging with lemang, lontong sum more, hehe.. still got the raya's spark all along eh..

Arrived at Sultan Ismail Airport approximately 10.30pm. Then watch new Heroes and Prison Break before fell asleep without preparing for clinic on the next day, hehe.. how lousy i am eh?

Anyway, my 1st patient for ortho session is dearest Suraya, Aina's lil sis (not so lil anymore, hahaha). With Dr. Burhan supervised my group this morning, the session really went on pretty interesting. He's so cool, not moody like others ( u might know who), likes to teach... i felt very confident when presenting Sue's case to him, not a single mistake i made. hahaha... though eventually her case was quite tricky to manage. Let me summarize a bit:

.::Suraya dalam ketakutan katanya, hehe::.

"This is a 14 year old girl who presented with Class III dental malocclusion on a Class II skeletal base, complicated with mesio-labially rotated 33, disto-labially rotated 13, and edge to edge 12,22"

Basically, she has no obvious dental malocclusion, in fact, the IOTN grading is still within 'no treatment needed' actually. Dr. Burhan said she has a good set of teeth but due to protrusion of her upper n lower jaw make her anterior teeth look a bit forward. She can wear fixed appliance/braces but it's only to correct the rotated and edge-edge teeth, and these were not her main concern. So my treatment plan for her is just reassurance to her and umi plus maintain good oral hygiene ;)

Then came along my 2nd patient, Azroy, 12/M/Boy for review Upper Removable Appliance. Once again, Dr. Burhan dengan baik atinya meng'activate'kan the appliance on my behalf for the sake of teaching the whole group. hehe, Thanks a lot DOC! u Make our Ortho session very enjoyable and we gain lots of knowledge ;)

Today's IDA is about Aesthetic Dentistry which in layman term means the area which concern the beauty of our teeth. Usually people tend to seek dental treatment because of dental pain but nowadays, the awareness among us is increased and to have a set of beautiful teeth is one's priority for having regular dental check up. I really enjoy today's IDA! Not as boring as usual IDAs, hehehe...

Got to go now, need to do amalgam restoration and 2 extractions on my patient after this! c ya after Aidiladha ^_^

FYI, every Wednesday or Thursday nite, i will receive a bunch of latest series and movies from either Lan or Jali. Here i listed out the sequence (Top 5) of watching 'em. From the best til the least.. hehe

1st - Heroes!
Yeah, this one is hard. I'm thinking which one i would eager more to watch, Southpark or Heroes, but Heroes is getting more interesting and worth to wait for! I love it when the creator divided those characters into Villains and Heroes. Pretty much fun thinking the battle will be engaged soon, huhu. Hopefully Peter will regain his power back becoz he's the most awesome of all besides Sylar!

2nd - Southpark
Those damn cute freaking 4 kids plus Butters really funny and crazy! But lately the stories were not up to standard. Quite disappointed actually.

3rd - My Name Is Earl
I like the series so much and not bored at all! seeing the stupidity of Randy and the unique of each characters in it is really fun to watch. Joy is crazy, hehehe..

4th - Desperate Housewives
I really like this new season, the plot is much more interesting especially seeing how Gaby transforms into this unattractive but caring and loving mother. Still hate Susan's character though.. sigh...

5th - Smallville
Can't wait to watch Clark turns into Superman.. oh yeah, he needs to learn how to fly 1st! Lana is back and she looks more mature and prettier!

misc. - House MD, Prison Break, Chuck, Reaper - this new series is gonna be in my top5 soon...!
House is becoming more boring and Prison Break too. Chuck is just for free time. Reaper is fun. I cant wait for new season.

Wow.... since the day i can't online... i'm really having a 'lazy' moment to start writing back in this blog. seems not much to say, post-clinic exhaustation plus thought block.. i think my brain is deteriorating right now. hahaha..

Today's clinic is horrible. tak puas ati langsung! sian kat Nana, my paeds patient. my plan for her is to restore at least 2 teeth in one afternoon session. but then, i only managed to restore one. tu pun asalnya nak wat Amalgam Class II but then terpaksa tukar jadi GIC Class II. aiseh.. tak dapat claim for Amalgam Restoration for kids. susah woo nak dapat. banyak kali ah cube restore ngan Amalgam tapi asal nak cabut je matrix band, Amalgam tu pecah! Bengang giler!!! tercabar kepoweran dalam membuat tampalan2 ni. selalunya memang mantap la, hehehe pasan jap. tapi Nana memang bagusla, respek ngat. baru 6 tahun tapi memang co-operative giler. masa cabut gigi last week pun dia cool jek. kan bes sume patient paeds cam NAna =)

Then kuar klinik pun dalam 5.15pm. pi Prostho Lab pulak buat base study model for fixed pros. dapat balik bilik an hour later. basically, today is the worst day within this week =( penat cam biasala.. disulami ngan cuaca yang dingin sepanjang hari. rindu plak zaman panas spjg masa. dapat jog tiap ari...

It has been only 2 days of clinic but the exhaustation made me skip tarawih for the 1st time in dis holy month today at surau. But still, i managed to pray it by myself, a huge lost if i really skip at the last moment of Ramadan. Almost every session i'll end very late, not because i'm too slow but too much work to be done.. fill up the logbook, treatment records, signature from the supervisors, registration form, and return form.. aiyayaya... for each and every treatment need treatments. But today is the most productive of all in this year =) huhuhu.. manage to do fissure sealant on 4 teeth and Preventive Resin Restoration on 2 teeth! In fact, all of 'em were done after completing the E&D.

Tiring!! unexpected that clinics during fasting month would be this hectic. But still, stay cool Mior!!! just got 3 more days to go and then i'm off for a week break! Hehe so excited by just thinking bout it ;) Truly, my prepation for raya this year is still 0%! haha.. gilerkan.. tak kesahla, what's playing in my mind right now is just to go home, rest and have a nice raya holiday!

First of all nak cakap: Ek eleh, tak ada apa pun jadi 16 Sept melainkan dolak dalih Anwar memberi alasan. kalo dah cukup bilangan ahli parlimen yg dikehendaki, Announce jela.. why taking so much time to say it loud? kenapa? ke retorik semata2? sedarla sikit, ahli parlimen yang cuba di'curi' tu menang atas tiket BN. mana boleh anggap semua rakyat mahukan PR. kalo ya, sudah pasti korang menang pilihanraya lepas! tu pun takleh pikir ke?

Tapi disebabkan dah mula pikir nak balik raya, sampai terlupa nak kena treat patients minggu ni. Tak suke la plak! Napela posting Perio dua hari berturut2, manala ada org nak wat scaling bulan puasa ni. Haiyaa.. pening pale nak cover. Susah..susah.. menganggur jela. Sape sokong? =)

At last, i think i have had enough of Patin Bakar already. hihi.. perhaps too much of 'em in my GIT systems and blood stream =P Tadi Aina call from UK mintak tolong beli buku kat Kedai Kamal which of course i'm gonna help her. Dalam masa 2 hari lagi, akan terbukti sama ada sorang lagi Hamba Allah itu akan menjadi PM Malaysia yang baru ke tak.. kalo tak jadi, memang terbukti gelaran "Kaki Temberang" yang diberikan kepada beliau semasa menuntut di UM. Saya pun dah tak tahu apa nak jadi ngan Malaysia. Kini dah menjadi macam satu trend di mana tiap negara pasti ada isunya masing2, kalo bukan perang, pasal politik la, makan tak cukup (ni yang paling sedeh sekali..), racism (mencik sekali!).

Alhamdulillah di dalam negara kita, perang bukan menjadi satu isu dan saya amat bersyukur! Minta dijauhkan sangat2 daripada berlaku. Saya syg kawan2 Melayu, Islam, Cina, India, etc saya! Masa gi GYS baru ni pun, saya berkawan baik dengan orang Filipina yg namanya Stephen Alquiza. He's very nice, studies pasal Theology, so besar kemungkinan jadi Paderi kot soon. tp kami xpenah anggap agama itu sebagai satu isu, we respect each other, we talked bout other things, we laugh at every funny moment. Roommate saya ketika itu lak org Acheh, Surya Putra. Dia pun baik.. macam2 dia cerita especially masa tempat die kena tsunami. yg menariknya he's one of the victim too.. dikejar ombak, so dia lari hampir 2 jam! besides them, i also make friends with Tareq, Kamil, Chi Wei, Adrian Lee, Albert, n many2 more,there were lots of Chinese Singaporeans. they are all nice. If u know other races very dearly, then u will realize that they are the same, nice people like us too. it's juz our leaders dat im quite despise nowadays.

So why can't our leaders get along well? Pilihanraya dah lepas tapi bertekak macam nak election lagi soon =( now is the time to do their responsibilities, pala hotak diorang janji pilihanraya baru ni terkubur camtu je. ngelat wat keja la tu. what i see rite now, bagilah Pak Lah buat keja dia.. dah dia yang dapat majoriti. yang pi sebok nak curi kerusi parlimen org watpe, ngaku jela dah kalah kalini. mana nak tau leh menang lak during 13th election. if this keeps go on.. confirm Malaysians so pissed off with u opposition n also Government. same je korang ni.. yg pihak government lak xpandai tutup mulut, asek kuar je fakta yang sensitif2. so stupid...

At this moment, ramai rindukan Tun Dr. Mahathir. ramai sayangkan dia walaupun dia ada gak salah silapnya sendiri tapi sumbangan beliau terlalu besar sekaligus mengaburi kesilapan yang dilakukan. Dia tegas, bijak, pada masa yang sama prihatin terhadap bangsa Melayu dan tak ketinggalan menjaga kebajikan kaum lain. Beliau sanggup kuar dari klinik untuk examine pesakit dalam kereta! saya xtau macam mana kalo Dr. M xada lagi pasni.. sedey sangat2.. xmungkin ada lagi pemimpin Malaysia seperti Tun=( in ere i wanna shout!

Waaa!! Im sooo craving for patin fish during dis fasting month! Huhu.. for those who dunno what is patin fish, it is a type of freshwater catfish which is soo juicy and can be considered as one of the best freshwater fish in Malaysia. Luckily for me, there's ikan patin bakar alongside with ikan keli n kerapu sold at the nearby bazar ere! the price is realy cheap and reasonable. according to its size, the range is between RM4-6 per cut. For a whole patin, can get as cheap as RM5! So im aiming to buy it again today, wish me luck!

Wow... USM as Apex (Accelerated Program for Excellence) University?

Is this just a dream or what? Previously it was announced that USM is a 5 star IPTA in the country, leaving others behind especially UM. And now, once again USM shows its true color! USM is chosen as the APEX university in Malaysia. The annoucement was made the Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Khaled Nordin on 3rd Sept 2008.

"KUALA LUMPUR 3 Sept. – Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi mengumumkan Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) sebagai universiti Apex.

Menterinya, Datuk Khaled Nordin berkata, USM dipilih selepas ia memenuhi ciri-ciri kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang ditetapkan. – Utusan."

So, for those who dont know what is Apex University, it is a programme which is constructed by the government to prepare a quick access for the selected university to be world class status. The APEX university status will be granted to the most promising institution, and the one with the most potential to break into the world’s 50 best university ranking. With the status, the university will be given access to resources that can improve facilities and attract the best students.

On 23rd August, there were four universities which short listed as the candidates out of 9 U's which applied for it.

The nine are Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), International Islamic Universiti (UIAM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Sains Islam (USIM), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) and Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten).

"Universiti yang bakal mendapat status APEX ini akan diterapkan dengan amalan-amalan terbaik global secara menyeluruh serta perlu membudayakan kecemerlangan dan budaya kerja berprestasi tinggi baik dalam pengajaran mahupun penyelidikan.

Universiti Apex akan menjadi penanda aras peringkat dunia dalam bidang pengajian tinggi dan langkah memperkenalkan status itu di negara ini dibuat Perdana Menteri sendiri ketika melancarkan PSPTN Ogos tahun lalu. Dalam pelan itu, ia membahagikan universiti kepada tiga kumpulan iaitu Universiti Apex, Universiti Elit dan Universiti Kompetitif"

Today is the 2nd day of fasting month. Alhamdulillah, til now not having any prob yet. In fact, although juz drank plain water for sahur, i still managed to jog one round golf course (approx. 2.3-2.4km) yesterday! Huhu dis morning i ate 3 pieces of bread with peanut butter. so let's see whether i can do more than a round.. but so disappointed with 'bazaar' this year.. not many choices left when i arrived, juz bought whateva left there.. hmm.. kena datang awal sikit ptg ni kot..;) today wanna buy what eh for buka puasa? hmm ikan bakar perhaps? waa.. patient2... my saliva is drooling out already ^_^

At last, my own blog.. err.. should i say, the 2nd one? huhu previously i had a blog at friendster but it's too damn boring and not interesting enough. well, in this era of technology, having a blog is like a routine. i have always wanna express my thoughts but dont have the rigth medium so i'm thinking by blogging is a way of expressing it. no laws enforce yet, i guess =P
